Guest guest
Dear Group, I have a small out patient practice in Salida, Colorado. I am the only treating therapist and owner. I am getting busier and I am asking about contracts with theraphysics here in Colorado. To be a provider for several insurance carriers I have to go through them. It is 500.00 a year because I am in a rural area. They charge 1200.00 a year in the metro area of Denver. If I pay this, I can become a provider for Aetna, RMHMO, Sloans Lake, Great West, and Anthem BCBS. I asked for the fee schedules and they are ok, not great. I have lost business because I am not a provider for BCBS and RMHMO. In such a small town of 16,000-18,000 (in the Valley, other small towns too ) I hope this is worth it for me. Anyone out there in this same situation???? thanks, Leanora Premeau MPT owner of At Home Rehab LLC doing business as, Arkansas Valley Physical Therapy
