Guest guest Posted December 30, 2008 Report Share Posted December 30, 2008 We're in California and our new Medicare intermediary, Palmetto, has not paid the strapping codes. Our former intermediary, NHIC, did pay the codes. We're not sure if the codes were denied because for a time Palmetto was denying certain CPT codes with certain ICD9 codes. Anthem, Blue Cross, has now stopped paying the strapping codes, as well. Viel, Office Manager Mt.
