Guest guest
Bonnie, You'll rest so much better at home. I'm glad you don't have to do the hotel thing. I took my own p.j.s, but I don't think I ended up wearing them. BUT...I would definitely take some. The problem is that the i.v. lines don't let you wear a regular gown or shirt (for long). A robe works for the short time you're up and walking, but unless you i.v.s get taken out, you probably won't be able to wear your on jammies. The hospital DOES have BIG...I mean BIG! gowns...but you have to make sure they have the right size for you. They put a regular one on me the second day and it was o.k., but not nearly as nice and roomy as the big ones, so make sure they get you the right size gown and you should be comfortable. Another trick is to wear two gowns...one worn the regular way and the other worn as a 'robe'. Anyway...you get the idea.
