Guest guest
HI Tim, we have been using them for years. If you leave them you will need t buy tail coverage to protect you (length of the tail depends on your patient population). Ivashenko PT DPT OCS Edison NJ Liability Insurance Is anyone using Lockton for their professional liability insurance or have any experience with them? I have a quote from Lockton and a quote from HPSO. I gave them each the same information and the difference between the quotes is about $2000. I'm going to have to read through the fine print but the difference is staggering so it makes me a bit leery of the Lockton quote. Any feedback you have is appreciated. Guest guest
We used Lockton for 3 years with no problems. We just switched only to get all of insurance from the same group. You are right the price difference was staggering and what sold us on it! Guest guest
Tim,  Have you looked that the coverages are similar? Is it a 'claims made' policy or an 'occurrence' policy? You may want to contact the Risk Managemet and Member Benefits department/area at APTA (note: the dept. name MAY have changed recently but it is the group that deals with affinity programs and endorsements). In the past, they have done apples to apples comparisons between companies.  I am unfamiliar with Lockton personally.  Stuart H. Guest guest
I had Lockton and had to drop them as they do not cover ILF or ALF facilities if you do home health or treat anyone INSIDE those buildings. HPSO does not have this caveat in their policy. Terry Stegman, PT > > HI Tim, > > we have been using them for years. Guest guest
Hello all, Where do you purchase professional liability insurance? We have been using Marsh because I get a discount from ASHA for being a speech pathologist but for PT and OT it is more expensive and I'd like to look into other options. Thanks for your input.
