I haven't started chelation yet but plan to. (I am speaking of my own fungal problem, not a childs.) However, I did use a much more powerful/concentrated Oil of oregano than North American....but would not recommend it for children. I also have used hyssop, cat's claw, olive leaf, capricin, raw garlic, agrisept, and grapeseed oil. ch

I don't remember his name darn it. also....this is a site with some info too http://www.positivehealth.com/permit/Articles/Colon%20Health/kimbr42.htm and I suggest everyone with gut bugs take a look at this http://www.mdheal.org/parasites.htm
Guest guest
I was also using RX to control yeast/fungal issues. (an x Dr. G patient) --(which never seems to keep the yeast away for long and it seems to come back stronger) I agree. The RX for yeast would lower one group while the other groups/types just got stronger or mutate. We are still battling yeast. Had it before beginning cheleation. But it's under control. I use GSE too. 3 days. 3 drops 3 x a day and then stop.(Dana's recommendation) I rotate my probiotics. I use culturelle and vital 10 about 1 month apart. BM's are really good now. and behavior are better. He is calmer. We also use cidin (1 scoop 3x a day) that has helped a lot too. our gut bugs are in better shape now than w/ the RX yeast meds. I use the OATS test from Great Plains to see what's going on. We have really gut back on sugar. My son never drinks juice. I read labels like crazy. I was surprised at some food that add sugar. Like some brand of peas. even some breads if you're not careful.(for my nt girls). corn and corn syrup is every where. that's my experience...y [ ] Emulsified Oregano Oil I'll share my experience but I'd like to hear others. I've done some perimentation with natural anti-fungals, and I have come to the conclusion that with some kids who have stubborn yeast issues, the key is rotation. I've decided to give up on the prescription anti-fungals and I've decided to rotate Oregano Oil and Grapefruit Seed Extract to fight the yeast. It seems that any anti-fungal, although effective at first, will stop working because the yeast (or bacteria for that matter) seem to adapt to it after awhile. I have had success switching back and forth between these two and only giving them for a few days at a time. I've seen Oregano Oil bring down Clostridia too. Guest guest
This is looking to be true for our son too. So far, gut bugs are more in control with the natural antifungals and probiotics than they ever were with the rx antifungals. We had used nystastin and diflucan only to see short term improvement and the bugs coming back with a vengence. We too have cut way baack on sugar and that really does help. Xylitol is a great substitute. Will keep you posted. > I was also using RX to control yeast/fungal issues. Guest guest
Lori, I was wondering if you could be a bit more specific with regards to the oil of oregano that you use with your son. What brand do you use, how many drops do you give per dose, how many doses per day, and for how many days do you treat with it? Sorry so many questions, I'm really on the learning curve with this one. Regards, Sheryl [ ] Emulsified Oregano Oil I'll share my experience but I'd like to hear others.
