BTW, did you try antiseizure medications like Tegretol or Depakote, and did you try hydrogenated fat exclusion? >He was also more with it and > began sleeping more and better, which probably attributed to his better > behaviour. We are not chelating yet as his gut problems remain unsolved. Then you will never chelate. You need to find a doc who understands heavy metal tox enough to realize it is the heavy metal problem that prevents the body from controlling the gut bugs, and they can't be gotten under control for any reasonable period of time without addressing the heavy metals. Or you need to make your own decisiosn about what to do. . . .. . . . . . . > We have been doing the diet for years though. We started on prozac > yesterday to see about helping his ocd issues. We have never tried hydrogenated fat exclusion because quite frankly this is a child with severe food allergies and his intake is limited to only a few foods. I only cook with soy free margarine with him or once in a while coconut butter. > >He was also more with it and > > began sleeping more and better, which probably attributed to his > better > > behaviour. He spoke at the last DAN conference and it was said there by Dr. Holmes that until you can control the gut, you shouldnt chelate so we have been working hard on it. We just completed a 2 month trial of vancomycin. > > >
