Guest guest
Just finished our accreditation visit, with very little issue, a great accomplishment for our organization. This was a three day, 5 surveyor visit and they did survey my off site rehab clinics. Particular attention was paid to medication reconciliation, patient involvement in determining outcomes and pain control/measurement (each visit if needed, even in our pediatric clinic). Wanted to know how the PT/ST that they interviewed kept " current " and how competency was determined. Of course all of the other usual stuff, infection control, patient identifiers, emergency procedures. The surveyors were very fair and educational Ron Barbato PT Administrative Director, Rehabilitation Services Ephraim McDowell Health Voice: Fax: rbarbato@... Guest guest
Thank you Ron, we are expecting our unannounced survey sometime in 2009. The feedback on your experience is quite helpful.
