Guest guest
If you were renovating/remodeling a room with the goal of becoming a pediatric treatment room, what would you consider for floor cover? I am renovating a room that is on a cement slab. Cold and hard as rock. It is time to pick the floor cover. The room is 50 long x 36 wide. This is a pediatric PT site. If I could afford the rubberized indoor gym surface, I would do it. Not sure what the cost will be. Anyone have any companies in mind that could give me an estimate? What alternative floor covers have worked for other pediatric treatment rooms/gyms? Thank you, Casady PT MS Gaitway Therapy LLC Belle Center Ohio gaitway@... Guest guest
In order to ensure maximum safety, we have all our our pediatric treatment rooms surfaced with padded tile. That way, if a child rolls off of the mat, the surface is still more forgiving than standard tile or other hard surfaces.
