Guest guest
Group- I'm wondering what benchmarks, if any, people are using to measure falls in the inpatient rehab setting that occur IN therapy (i.e. not on the nursing units). We had been historically rolling them up into our total falls data, but our Quality department has recently said that based on the NDNQI definition of patient falls... they will not be including the falls that occur IN THERAPY into those totals any longer. Are there any benchmarks out there for us to use? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
