, vertigo, dizzyness, epilepsy and MS?

As far as I know MS and epilepsy don't go hand in hand.

I also have vertigo (dizzyness) and it comes and goes. I always have the vertigo to some degree but at times it is way worse. I get dizzy when I lie down in bed, when I turn over and then when I get up it lasts for several minutes. When I have worsening MS symptoms or go into an attack I often have really bad vertigo. Do you think you are in a flare/attack? You can buy Antivert at the pharmacy. It used to be by prescription only but now is over the counter. The generic name is Meclizine. It helps with the vertigo but can make some people sleepy. When my vertigo was really bad my neuro gave me lorazapam and that helped as well.

bad spasm night!

Last night was a bad spasm night for me. I woke at 1:28 and sat up, thinking I needed to go to the bathroom. Then the spasms started in my right inner thing. I quickly lay back down hoping that would help, but it didn't. The spasm intensified. The pain was incredible. It was one of those deep, twisting spasms. I sat back up but the pain would not ease off and then my left foot and leg started into a spasm as well. I tried rubbing my leg but nothing on this earth helps those deep twisting spasms. I watched the clock and the spasm in my right inner thigh lasted a full 6 minutes before it started easing little by little. I took an extra Baclofen and a half a Klonopin and was able to go back to sleep for the night.I know many of you have the severe spasms, too. I just want to tell someone who

understand, you know? I already called Challis and complained to her. She sympathized properly with me. :)hugs))

I have epilepsy as well, BUT, it is thought to be caused by my

having had hydrocephalus of prematurity ( " water on the brain " ),

which did resolve. My epilepsy meds work fine. I still have MS
