Their upgrades are the cost of doing business. My present billing company

has had all the upgrades for HIPAA 5010 as well as ICD-10s. I have a

contract through 2013 so their fees are the same percentage for me until

then.

You should review your contractual agreement with them to ensure that there

is no stipulation in the contract that your clinic would pay for upgrades.

Have your attorney review it and they can help you handle the situation.
