Difference in direct vs insurance rates

Question for the group-I am not asking for SPECIFICS here. A question came up

recently in a staff meeting. Does a " standard or percent difference " exist

between what one charges for a direct cash service versus what one bills out

(for example " out of network " ) for the same CPT codes billed? Usually there is

a difference b/c of time and labor involved to collect from the ins. co.
