Physical Therapists Can Thrive Under Healthcare Reform " * on August 20th and

21st at the Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista in Orlando.

One of the objectives of this seminar is to educate Physical Therapists on

the Medicare Shared Savings Program (Accountable Care Organizations) and the

weekend will include presentations by Medicare Compliance expert Kathy

Hargreaves, CPA, CFP regarding Medicare Audits under this system and by

D. Magidson, Esq regarding proposed ACO rules and their implications

for Physical Therapists.

Also, Suncoast Regional Health Information Organization (SRHIO)

administrator Louis Galtiero, MBA, HIMSS will present * " Linking Hospitals to

Private Practices Under the Medicare Shared Savings Program " *.

This weekend has been approved for 14 CEUs by the FPTA and all proceeds from

the course will go directly to the FLPTPP non-profit cooperative.
