Medicaid progress notes for peds patients

We treat medicaid the same as medicare ie: sending progress notes every 10

visits or 30 days whichever comes first. With pediatric neuro patients, we see

little improvement through several months sometimes. What do others do in

reference to the progress notes?

Our progress notes must be signed at least every 90 days by physician. We write

one approx every 75 days unless, of course, there is a change in medical status

sooner.
