Guest guest
The original clinic schedule was based on 1 hr appts. We have since changed to a 45 minute based schedule. There continue to be 15-30 minute slots that are not schedulable. Also when we need to schedule a meeting (journal club/in-service/staff mtg), there is significant schedule rearranging so that everyone's times overlap. I would like to change all appts, breaks and meetings to 45 minutes throughout the day, although the staff will not be happy with having a 45 rather than 60 minute lunch. (all are on salary except for one, however 15 minutes of the 45 minutes per day paid documentation time would be considered a break - 15+30 documentation = 45 minute slot). Please share how you have solved this problem in outpatient therapy settings.
