Guest guest Posted December 1, 2008 Report Share Posted December 1, 2008 I practice in a subacute rehab/snf setting, and we have admitted a patient with orders for chest PT. I am experienced in the procedures but I have been told there is no longer a cpt code for chest PT, and that the Nurses can perform the procedure...Do I train them? We do not have respiratory therapists in house. The patient is doing okay without the treatment, but it would help her to breathe more easily...Any Ideas?
