Private Practice Contracting with a Hospital

Would anyone be able to offer me some insight (offline or via private email)

regarding any current contractual relationships with hospitals to provide OP

PT. I'm looking for info regarding both Non-Critical Access AND Critical

Access arrangements.

One other thought....are there regulations with regards to how far (from the

hospital facility) an OP clinic may be. I've heard NO RESTRICTION, and I've

heard 250 Feet....

I would be very much appreciable.

In order to be provider based the clinic must be within 35 miles of the

hospital. The 250 yard rule is used to designate whether the clinic is on or off

the main hospital campus. If it's more than 250 yards you need to complete an

attestation and some additional paperwork to get the clinic credentialed as

provider or hospital based.
