Re: flag overdue appts system

We have a spreadsheet that we print each week with name, phone, insurance and MD

in boxes with a blank column next to the name. We print it out on Monday for the

following week. As people start to schedule for the next week, we schedule them

in the computer and then just jot down either, the days they scheduled (M,W,F)

or (2…3) something to note that this patient is accounted for for next week.

We also have room to write in there if they will be gone for the next week or on

hold per MD. It does make it pretty easy to see by Friday am who is left to be

scheduled for next week (as long as the team keeps up with tracking appts)

Hope that helps

Subject: flag overdue appts system

Anyone have a good system in place without a electronic scheduler, that

tracks overdue appts ? or some way to flag when any hiatus in appts has

occurred? Form used? spread sheet? Tracked at front desk or by something in

chart? Any suggestions would help until I switch to EMR next yr. May contact

me directly if you wish
