Guest guest
I wonder which Provider Type your practice is. A Physical Therapist in Private Practice (PTPP) is physical therapist owned, and may only offer PT. An Outpatient Rehab Agency (ORF) may be owned by non-therapists or corporations, and may offer PT, OT, and SLP or other medical services. Last week, I was called by a multi-office practice seeking to recruit several physical therapists. They reportedly provide only PT, and staff with " A PT, one or two PTAs, and 'techs' who do treat patients. " The administrator was unable to describe which provider type the organization is... but was able to describe how a PT, an LPTA, and two " techs " can treat 125+ visits per week. It's really important to know which provider type you are. Dick Hillyer, PT, DPT, MBA, MSM Dr. Hillyer Hillyer Consulting.
