There's nothing like a good cup of tea, eh Vicki?

Most of our subscribers are in the US, but many are in the UK, quite a few

in Australia, some in France, Italy, Poland, India, Japan, China, Turkey,

and just about everywhere, really. I'm in Canada myself, along with a few

others.

Hello, I was born in Weiden, Germany and brought up moving around My

dad was in the army. My mother is full German and my dad a mix (he

calls it Heniz 57)I call myself a melting pot. I have been to a few

different states in the US and one day would like to travel more. My

boyfriend is half French (which he deneies) and half Irish. I also

have Irish in me so one day we would like to travel there. But I

really want to go everywhere. Right now all I can do is collect

postcards from my freinds I have meet online. And have quite of few

from different places I havn't yet seen.

Hi Vicki,

Welcome to our group. I am sorry you were diagnosed with IgAN, but you are

in good company that being the case. Your family sounds precious. Your

children are certainly at precious ages.

I hope you got your cup of tea this morning. I am a tea drinker too, and I

am from California.

Hi Vicki,

We are quite a diverse group! I'm in the US, just East of Colorado

Springs, Colorado. Out where I can see the mountains but still have enough

open land between my neighbor and I that I have to walk 10 minutes to get to

their door. It's nice to wake up to the sound of horses and roosters rather

than traffic. :o)

I'm from the Middle-of-Nowhere, Kansas, USA.

I lived in civilization until 10 years ago - then like a complete idiot,

I moved out here.

Age 46, married with 2 boys ages 4 and 17.

Diagnosed with IGAN 4 years ago. Had symptoms since I was a kid -

doctors never took any notice other than to say how I had lots of

protein in my urine and high blood pressure.

Hi everyone! I was reading Amy's reply about Dave's flare-up and she

mentioned a friends maternity leave in the UK. I was just wondering

if the majority of you are in the US? I live in Northern Ireland,

but I'm originally from Scotland- I moved over here when I was 16.

I'm now 26, married to Darran and we have 2 children: Leona who is

nearly 5 and who is 2. As you can imagine, I'm glad my

parents dragged me over here, and I wouldn't change it for the

world!! I was diagnosed with IgAN last month after having

proteinuria and high blood pressure since my first pregnancy five

years ago. I'm still a bit shocked but it helps when you realise

there are so many other people going through the same thing.

Anyway, I hope everyone is well. My husband isn't working this

weekend so hopefully I'll get lots of cups of tea made for me- I'm

very easily pleased!!
