Guest guest
Penny -- thanks for the update on both you and . I know what you're talking about with the nasty naso-gastric tube. One of the happiest moments of my life was when Dr. Rutledge pulled mine out! And one of the bleakest moments was when he told me he needed to put another in the other nostril! God, please deliver us from NG tubes! Glad to hear you're doing well after your complications. The juice and water diet will eventually pass. If you feel up to it, you might try frozen juice popsicles. Just eat them VERY SLOWLY, like one bite every 20 minutes. And put it in a bowl or cup between bites. That's the only thing remotely solid I had for 4 weeks while in the hospital, and they saved my sanity! Take care, and keep us posted on your progress! >From: Prespenny2@... >Reply-To: MiniGastricBypassonelist >To: MiniGastricBypassonelist >Subject: Hello >Date: Tue, 20 Apr 1999 13:08:25 EDT > >From: Prespenny2@... > >I just wanted to give everyone an update on myself and 's recovery.
