Guest guest
Mark:  Not really worth it. Had it a few years back. Cleaned out a few bad contracts, them included. Many people asked me to go back on, so I did. Now I regret it. Too much paper work for reimbursement. Currently fighting for initial claims due to learning curves with billing. We may never see that $$. We were better off out of network. Collecting deductibles and getting a fair reimbursement as out of network providers. Subject: optum health To: PTManager Date: Thursday, December 8, 2011, 12:26 PM  For those Florida clinics, in the past have heard not so good about United with PT, and folks were dropping. Guest guest
I am not in Florida (but in land). I dropped Optum Health a little over a year ago. Now I continue to provider PT services to patients with United Healthcare/Optum Health who have out-of-network benefits. United HealthCare reimburses me 3x more than what it had been reimbursing me when I was a participating provider (and without having to jump through its administrative jungle gym).
