Guest guest
I just came back from my son's 6 month check up. The doctor gave us a prescription for floride? Did anyone else have this? The doctor asked me if I had starting giving him formula yet! What does she mean by yet, I always thought you bf until they went to regular milk. She didn't sound very incouraging of breast feeding. She said since I didn't plan to then I had to give him floride drops until half of what he drinks is water. She said that kids do that around 12 months. I didn't think you were suppose to give babies water. I am a first time mom, and I am just a little confused. I just figured since I bf that I didn't have to worry about giving him vitamins or any sort of suppluments. Actually I thought floride was bad for babies.
