Guest guest
There are three vendors that we know of: Home Health Care SOS (San , CA), Dynamic (Texas), WebPT. All have their pros and cons. SOS is easy to use, they will customize the forms for you (at a cost) and it is web based. Their con is the cost, they charge a per note fee and this can add up rather quickly. Dynamic is also web based and they have a feature where you can do a form off line and then sync your pc later on and make your off line notes part of the web based system. Their cons would be cost since you need to buy tablets (at that point it was only from HP and each tablet cost was on average $850, add a bag for $50 and then have these computers sent to Dynamic and for Dynamic would add the sync feature to each computer, at a cost of $100, ). The monthly cost varied per volume being generated and again the cost could rise rather quickly. The other con would be ease of use. For example, we found that making changes to an evaluation was not easy and in fact we had a hard time finding the evaluation once we " saved " it. The interface has great potential, but needs to be made so that therapists with little or no experience can get on and begin using it. And, there is one more possible software solution for home health. WebPT. Its a super easy product to use, its web based and the cost is minimal. WebPT will charge around $500 to set it up and then its $49 per user per month! The con is that at this time, its meant more for the outpatient setting, but they are promising a home health version soon. The WebPT support team is out of this world! Good Luck! Guest guest
Our hospital owned HH/Hospice Agency flew through a Hospice survey with its documentation system from My Homecare Biz. They just recently were surveyed for Home Care and are awaiting their results. It is Web based, lots of support when needed. No Program to buy. Need to purchase licenses for each user. Probably just another option. Dan , PT PT Manager Vernon Memorial Hospital Viroqua, WI 54665 dnelson@...
