Hi listers,

Since I unsubscribed from this list because of a change in e-mail address,

I am not actually new here. I am 55 years old, am blind from either RLF or

RP (depending on your age) and have type II diabetes, which was diagnosed

in the fall of 2001. I live in Columbus, Ohio, where I work for the State

of Ohio as a computer programmer. Also, I am not on insulin, but take meds

twice a day in order to help to control my blood sugar level. As an

employee who has driven a desk for over 32 years, I fight the pounds battle

every day and I ride an exercise bike and lift weights several times during

the week, too. By reading about the issues of others who have diabetes, I

keep from developing tunnel vision about my own issues. I am glad to be back.

Glad to have you back Greg. How are doing in controlling the diabetes? How
