Guest guest
I use splenda myself. One caution however is that there is a difference between splenda and its sweetening agent sucralose. Splenda has fillers added to make the sweetness level match in bulk the same amount of table sugar. It is sugar free because the fillers are not sugars but they are carbs nonetheless. When seeing sucralose in a product such as a drink it has no carbs because the fillers are not used. Look here for various forms of splenda and the carb content, examples follow: http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/search.php?search_type= & searchpro=splenda 1 packet has 1 carb 1 teaspoon of the baking formulation has 1 carb and one cup 48 carbs. 1 teaspoon of the brown sugarformulation has 2 carbs and a cup 96 carbs. One can divide by the total splenda used the numbers of servings in a menu and add it to the other carbs for a total per serving.
