Guest guest
Wondering if anyone has any ideas to help me out on this problem. My teen daughter who is on all recommended supplements, enzymes, and chelation gets ill every morning upon waking. She complains of headache and stomach upset. This has been happening for several years off and on, even before supplements, enzymes and chelation though. She doesn't seem to have as much of a problem if she sleeps for at least 12-14 hours (which she must do alot - mercury, virus - chronic fatigue) but if she only sleeps 8 or so hours? Any ideas? This is a real problem with school starting even though her DAN has her on partial days due to all her health issues and serious fatigue. And it is so difficult to get her to eat anything before school when she says her stomach is upset. Help. Michele
Guest guest
>> For me, fatigue is a sign of phenols, especially milk. Dana, I know there is phenol in milk and dairy products but she is getting enzymes-all three Houston's with every meal. She never gets milk per se, but does get cheese with the enzymes. Do you think that could still cause fatigue? I mean horrible fatigue. This child some days sleeps 14 hours or more. Just falls over so tired. She also has very high viral titers tho to Epstein Barr (I think MMR related). Michele
Guest guest
Hi Michele, I have no Ideas about the medical side of the issue you describe and I was just wondering how your daughter felt about school. I home school my children and know that there are still many families who don't know that this is an option. All the best, Dagmar. When I have a headache in the morning, it is either because of yeast or because I ate a food containing nitrites/nitrates the previous day. > This has been happening for several years off and on, even before > supplements, enzymes and chelation though. No-Fenol helps me with fruit phenols, so I can eat fruits and not have problems. But it does nothing for milk phenols. One day I tried Peptizyde and No-Fenol, I don't have the digestive issues with the milk, but still made me need a nap. My son lost his phenol sensitivity after 10 rounds of ALA, so he does not have this problem. Cheese contributes to yeast issues. Guest guest
Does she have new bedding? Does she sleep on her stomach? I think antimony also played a role in morning exhaustion for me (in addition to the mercury toxicity).I used to be more tired in the morning than the night before. Felt like I'd been run over by a Mack truck as the saying goes. Guest guest
Hi Michele, It sounds to me as if you have been putting a lot of thought, energy and perseverance into doing the best you could for your daughter and I am sure you can judge best, what she and you need now. My children, although I believe mercury toxic have got no lables (and to be honest, I don't really know the meaning of most, connected with autism). The only thought I got into my mind after reading your e-mail was, how many people who home educate or think about it worry about inspections and what other people expect them to teach their children, about the expectations in society of what people should learn. This leaves little spac to wonder, what we would like our children to learn, what they would like to learn themselves and whether there is an overlap where you can work together. I hope other people's responses have been helpful to you in sorting out the medical issues you are concerned with. I wish you and your daughter all the best. Dagmar. Re: [ ] RE: Mornings Well, I financially couldn't homeschool her when she was younger (still can't) but also as a teen it would not work! My child's dx's thru the years have been such that she never got much in the way of services in the educational setting other than some hearing itinerant for the CAPD and some remediation in reading and math. This resulted in my spending hours every night trying to teach what she just wasn't getting. As she got older she became very frustrated and began to really resent my intervention. It ended up actually harming our relationship when she was 14. After going thru years of counceling with her the psychologists began to view her as not just ADHD, CAPD, Bipolar but maybe PPD (finally at 15!!!). At this point I must relinquish any responsibility of my direct interventions academically and stick to the mothering-nurturing for her sake. I do wish I could have stayed home and homeschooled from the beginning when she was little though - she would have been so much better off. About 2 months into treatment, that started getting better.
