Guest guest
Hi Group, Wondering how others experience is with Humana. We are not contracted with them, but my billing manager is telling me of how they have given us authorization, but then not pay us. Would like to know if others have had problems with them. Need to decide if we will accept any more patients who have Humana or how to handle it. Thanks Lydia Radosevich,PT Ruidoso,NM
Guest guest
Going in network is a tough decision as well. In my discussions they only offer 70% of Medicare and have remained firm on the pricing. It's not a dominate payer in our area so we have avoided enrolling. But, after looking at it, when you break down other agreements in comparison they are similar. (Optum/United/Pacificare, Cigna & BCBS flat fee/visit, ATA's flat fee per event, and other fee schedule offerings (Aetna, etc.) From: PTManager [mailto:PTManager ] On Behalf Of lydia radosevich Sent: Thursday, February 02, 2012 8:40 PM To: ptmanager Subject: Humana Hi Group, Wondering how others experience is with Humana.
