Guest guest
Hi all, Sorry about little-to-no posting (and little-to-no reading posts as well, I'm afraid). I've been, and am, busy, busy (deadlines flying at me like a flock of birds... but it's mostly fun, so no complaining here...). But I am making a quick de-lurking because I came across a video on youtube today that I saw for the first (and second, and third etc) time around that scary period of time when (my wife, for those of you who don't know me) was admitted to hospital with an unknown, and possibly fatal, diagnosis, that in the end turned out to be the at least very survivable MS that so many others of you here are familiar with. ANd that made me think of you, and wish to send the video on to you. During those days I would watch this video several times a day, definitely in the morning before starting the trip to hospital to see , and certainly in the evening, when returning home. Despite the depressing circumstances it was just impossible to watch it and not start laughing out loud - or at the very least smile widely. It was a remainder of the many, many " small " things in life we usually miss or take for granted (at least when we get older and stop being kids). And a lesson that taught me that if this baby could find such hysterical laughing material in his father imitating the sound of the microwave-oven, then how much don't I, even in times of distress, still have to laugh at. Or, in fewer words, life is to short not to laugh at all the funny stuff, let that laughing baby in you out! For those of you here still in that scary place of no diagnosis, or in other scary and dark places in life, do let this guy give you a smile back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5P6UU6m3cqk love /Reb PS. The words on the screen in the beginning- " Kan man ha roligare?? - is Swedish and means " Could one have any more fun than this?? "
