>Fungal sinusitis is definitely an issue for him. He also always has an

intermittent cough. Don't know what that is about.

Judy, I'll bet his cough is always worse in the morning!! Why?

Anatomically, due the shape--sort of like a soup bowl, open at the

top--and position of the Maxillary sinus, they fill up with the .....

politely said.... " waste products and debris " produced by the fungus

during the day....when you lay down to sleep, or lean over, the soup

bowls empty and drain into the throat while you sleep.

Imagine the irritation that causes!!

When you wake up, throat is sore and you want to cough that " debris " up,

and your throat is sore, then once you're upright, and the saliva begins

to wash away the debris, the irritated condition resolves temporarily.

If he consumes: any GRAINS (other than Millet) or by products of any

grains; any milk or milk by-products; any chocolate; or any other know

mucous producing foods---ELIMINATE THEM immediately, permanently for at

least ONE YEAR....he'll benefit from the results.

To help create an environment that the fungus don't like and to

dramatically reduce their population...a nasal douche with strong salt

water will really help to flush them out...you can use a Neti Pot,

available at better health food stores, or do it yourself with about 1-2

TBS SeaSalt in cup of warm water...stir well until completely dissolved,

then pour some into hand, lean way over, (don't do this standing

upright), put both nostrils into the solution, sniff rapidly in thru

your nose and cough out thru your mouth the water and the most

disgusting looking debris....do this several times each morning on

arising, and follow with the remaining solution as a gargle...

Just seeing what comes out, will motivate you discontinue the banquet of

the above listed things....

My ENT doctor prescribes a nystatin powder that I mix up myself with seasalt

and distilled water and use in a nasal spray. Last visit he stated a

compounding pharmacy is now making up stronger antifungal medications into

nasal sprays........and also using powerful antibiotics in nasal sprays as

the absorption is better in the nasal cavities by this method than by taking

it orally.

so you might ask for a anti-fungal nasal spray prescription....it will take a

compouding pharmacy to do it.

I get yeast in my head, generally my sinuses. Causes a MAJOR MIGRAINE

headache, I can't function. Also causes coughing, sore throat, upset

stomach, etc.

At the very first sign of this type of headache, I put 4-5 drops GSE

into an inch of water and drink it. I do it again every hour, until

the headache is gone, generally 3 hours. If I don't catch it soon

enough, I will have a raging headache that will last for three days,

even if I overdose on pain killer or other remedies. Nothing will

help, except GSE at the first sign of it.

This sounds like the same thing that the sinuneb is. It nebulizes the

antibiotic or antifungal into the nasal cavaties. The

sinuspharmacy.com is a compounding pharmacy that compounds it into

particle size so it can be absorbed. So far it is working well, we are

on day 5.The only down side is like an asthma nebulizer it takes

around 12 minutes of getting the kid to sit still. Sure beats the side

effects of the oral antibiotics that were just causing gut problems

for us.......Ann
