There should be some place we could use that, like in a flyer, or announce it in some format at a cmt conference, Make a plaque ( " Welcome to the Doctor Dance " ) and hang it up in my doctors office, etc. Man my minds going to run on this one. Guest guest
Carolyn, Earlier this year went back to my favorite orthopedist, since once he refused to operate This time went to him for my back/hip pain. He said he doesn't do backs and referred me onward actually to a first class jerk of a neurosurgeon! I had it and went back to my sweetie Internist, who I have seen fo 10 years, and he actually is the one who recommended more exercise and physical therapy, and as you and everyone here knows, I am no longer loopy on pain meds and out of pain and going to PT and walking in water (as opposed to walking ON water!) LOL I learned along time ago to go to the Docs I am comfortable with and make them WORK for their money! I try to get as much out of my Internist as possible! I sympathesize with you and the 'doctor dance'. Gretchen
Guest guest
Thanks for your reply, as usual, Gretchen. The " doctor dance " is very frustrating, as you know. I will reserve judgment on this one, for now, until I actually see the ankle guy. But what gets me is that it's also hard to get the docs to communicate with each other. I find this with my mother's healthcare all the time. I have to be chief cook and bottlewasher all the time - ordering faxes, letters, etc. from one doc to another, and then following up to see that the data was received, etc etc etc. So now it looks like I'll have to start my own " dancing. " I always did have two left feet.... Oh well, it could be worse.... I'm glad to again find I'm not the only one with the problem.
