Malpractice Insurance Question

Hello! Im shopping malpractice insurance for my private practice.  One company

says their coverage is " occurance based " and the other company says " claim

based " coverage.  From what I understand, " claim based " means the claim must be

filed by the patient before the insurance is termed (eg: if we canceled our

policy and then the patient files, were SOL).  NOTE: claim based is much

cheaper.

Anyone have any experience with these terms and can recommend what is the better

product?

Thank you!

Subject: Whirlpool disinfectant product and procedure

We just found out that our current whirlpool disinfectant has been discontinued.

Would anyone be willing to share what product and procedure has been approved by

your infection prevention department for cleaning a whirlpool post treatment?

Feel free to respond to my email if you prefer.

Feel free to contact me offline for a response to this great question that may

be too detailed to type out and possibly requiring secondary and tertiary

questions.
