Guest guest
It is my understanding from the Florida Hospital Association that the guidelines for implementation have not been put in place as of yet. Information on the APTA and AOTA websites indicate that the start date was unclear, but implementation was to be " applied no later than October 1, 2012 " . However, we got a memo from our state hospital association saying the caps began on March 1, 2012. Is there any more info out there, or can anyone clarify? Also, we were wondering if any hospital had a process in place for implementing the cap (e.g., tracking beneficiary usage of outpatient therapy services, usage of KX modifer, etc). It is fine to respond to the group or contact me privately. Thanks much. Meryl W.
