Can anyone please tell me the difference between the open gastric bypass and

the mini gastric bypass (besides the size of the incision). Does the

procedure inside still resemble a roux-en-y with the distal stomach?

Thanks for your help.

weight is 268

height 5' 5 "

BMI 46

going to Dr. Baker at Unity Hospital in MN

and still gathering information. . . and WaItInG

Nothing is completely removed from the body. The upper, no longer used part

of the intestine is still attached to the large, no longer used stomach.

It's a bypass around these areas.
