Guest guest
Can you direct me to any references for federal guidelines indicating how long an order is valid for? We practice under a 30 day understanding but I need a reference to back that up. The CMS guidelines I have in hand PUB 100-02 Transmittal 88 do not have anything I can see that say whether an order or referral expires.... This is not related to POC but related to the start of care and the date on the original prescription for care.
