Guest guest
Haven't seen anything either but am interested. There is a PT Journal article (Feb, 2012) on Delivery of PT in the Acute Care Setting. There are two articles referenced from the nursing literature that relate staffing levels (nursing) to quality outcomes. I am interested in looking at those articles to understand how they define quality outcomes and if there is any relevance to PT staffing levels in Acute Hospitals. I have checked with APTA and they don't have any that provide PT:PTA ratio data, and so far a literature search hasn't turned up anything (although I'm still pursuing that). Thanks!
