Hi Mike,

I thought I had heard that he was behind getting children vaccinated with the

MMR sooner than they do, like at 6 mos. I could be wrong though.

Mike, Bill Gates probably would not support this. He and his wife

have set up huge vaccination programs in third world countries. I

mean, it is worth writing to him to help educate him, but I would be

surprised if there was a turnaround and he donated to this.

Don't know if you know but Bill Gates has a foundation where he helps kids

get vaccinations that can not afford them and he also is helping with the

vaccination costs/supplies in some third world countries.

I heard rumor though he does help pay for the costs of ABA programs if

someone works for Microsoft.

I have know idea if he has put the two together and follows the

vaccine/autism debate.

I do not work for Microsoft nor do I live on the west coast.

Not a rumor about the ABA. I myself confirmed it through their benefits

department. They cover it at 50% with no deductible for their employees.

most of bill gates charity work is handled by a foundation. if you want to

write to him, the odds of him seeing the request are probably like winning a

lottery. there are clear guidelines that any project needs to fullfil or it is

not funded. His charity projects are also linked to sustainability and

productivity. this is not a guy who chucks money down the charity maw.

you never know. really you have to treat him just like another person,

hes doing something and should be interested

thers a message he needs to get

don't kill what you are. he would have been quite autistic had he

been vaccinated the way kids are now.

FWIW, Bill Gates has allied himself very strongly with the drug

companies. Here's an article that tells a bit about this:

Is anyone in touch with Dr. McCandless? Would ongoing human trial in

Mali qualify? It still needs financial support I am sure. Maybe they

could use it for the lab portion.

" Of course, each applicant will need to be a scientist and have a lab

in which to do the work. But there won't be many more restrictions. "

and tax-exempt/non-profit

Initial grant $100,000 leading to $1 million.

consider proposals in four topic areas:

1. Creating new ways to protect against infectious diseases

....including harnessing natural or synthetic immune responses...

2. Creating drugs or delivery systems that limit the emergence of

resistance

3. Creating new ways to prevent or cure HIV infection

4. Exploring the basis for latency in TB

LDN is spot on for #1 and #3.

http://www.ldnafricaaids.org/ Dr. McCandless

" So, briefly said, the major therapeutic action of LDN is the

restoration of the body's normal production of endorphins in those

with autoimmune diseases such as HIV/AIDS. We trust that the Mali

Program, now fully underway, will show conclusively that this

restoration is significant enough to prevent the vast majority of HIV

+ individuals from developing full-blown AIDS. "
