Hi Mike, I thought I had heard that he was behind getting children vaccinated with the MMR sooner than they do, like at 6 mos. I could be wrong though. Guest guest
Mike, Bill Gates probably would not support this. He and his wife have set up huge vaccination programs in third world countries. I mean, it is worth writing to him to help educate him, but I would be surprised if there was a turnaround and he donated to this. Mike Don't know if you know but Bill Gates has a foundation where he helps kids get vaccinations that can not afford them and he also is helping with the vaccination costs/supplies in some third world countries. I heard rumor though he does help pay for the costs of ABA programs if someone works for Microsoft. I have know idea if he has put the two together and follows the vaccine/autism debate. I do not work for Microsoft nor do I live on the west coast. > > > > ======================================================= >
Guest guest
Not a rumor about the ABA. I myself confirmed it through their benefits department. They cover it at 50% with no deductible for their employees. Re: [ ] Bill Gates mwagnit wrote: > Would anyone have time to write Bill Gates and see if he would > contribute to the Washington Post Ad. Guest guest
most of bill gates charity work is handled by a foundation. if you want to write to him, the odds of him seeing the request are probably like winning a lottery. there are clear guidelines that any project needs to fullfil or it is not funded. His charity projects are also linked to sustainability and productivity. this is not a guy who chucks money down the charity maw. __________________________________________________________________ Your favorite stores, helpful shopping tools and great gift ideas. Guest guest
you never know. really you have to treat him just like another person, hes doing something and should be interested thers a message he needs to get don't kill what you are. he would have been quite autistic had he been vaccinated the way kids are now. > most of bill gates charity work is handled by a foundation. if you want to write to him, the odds of him seeing the request are probably like winning a lottery. there are clear guidelines that any project needs to fullfil or it is not funded. Guest guest
Is anyone in touch with Dr. McCandless? Would ongoing human trial in Mali qualify? It still needs financial support I am sure.
