Thanks for all these wonderful cookie recipes. These will be perfect

for the holidays coming up. Thanks for everything else you do for

this group as well. I don't post often but read the posts everyday.

This group provides much needed support in my weight loss journal, new

life journey. Thanks!!

> Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

> servings: 24

> points per serving: 2

>

> 1/2 cup granulated sugar

> 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

> 1/3 cup butter or stick margarine, softened

> 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

> 1/8 teaspoon salt

> 1 large egg

> 1 cup all-purpose flour

> 1 cup regular oats

> 1/2 cup raisins

> Cooking spray

>

> 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

> 2. Beat first 6 ingredients at medium speed of a mixer until light

and fluffy. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup, and level

with a knife. Add flour and oats to egg mixture; beat until blended.

Stir in raisins. Drop by level tablespoons 2 inches apart onto baking

sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes

or until golden brown. Cool on pan for 3 minutes. Remove cookies from

pan; cool on wire racks. Yield: 2 dozen (serving size: 1 cookie).

> 1 cup all-purpose flour

> 1 cup quick cooking oats

> 1/2 cup raisins

> Cooking spray

> Per Serving: 77 Calories; 2g Fat; 1g Protein; 13g Carbohydrate; 1g

Dietary Fiber; 5mg Cholesterol; 33mg Sodium. Exchanges: 1/2

Grain(Starch); 0 Lean Meat; 0 Fruit; 1/2 Fat; 1/2 Other Carbohydrates.

You're welcome !! I can't wait to see the new cookie recipe everyday - 24 new recipes will be nice for the coming year!! I love Cooking Light's recipes - but some of them are still a little too high in fat for me. That's why I'll always post what changes I would make. If you see any changes you would make - please let us know!! I like to see other's ways of lowering calories and fat!!
