I was wondering if anyone is using Paypal so patients can pay on-line at

their convenience.  Or do you have any other recommendations for similar

e-payments?  Thanks for any help.

Hi Josh,

We looked at PayPal but they wanted about double the percentage of each

transaction from what I was paying on my merchant account.

Of course, with my merchant account I had to lease the card scanner for about

$25 per month.

My volume was sufficiently high that I could amortize the $25 easily.

If you have a low volume of patients paying with credit card or PayPal direct

pay then perhaps the convenience is worth the higher transaction fee.
