From: PTManager [mailto:PTManager ] On Behalf Of Chung Sent: Wednesday, April 11, 2012 12:55 PM To: PTManager Subject: outpatient therapy question Hi! Group, Thank you in advance for any information for this question. Will you be able to direct me to the ducumentation, specific to Washington state, regarding the physical layout requirement/compliance for a skilled nursing facility providing outpatient rehabilitation services? My facility, a SNF, is going to have a major renovation. We want to expand our therapy services to incorporate outpatient services as well. My knowledge for the requirement is limited for the state and Medicare requirement. Any direction for publication from CMS and Washington state relate to requirement, especially in physical layout (e.g., a seperate entrance, not passing through inpatient area, etc.) will be greatly appreciated. tHANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AGAIN.
