Guest guest
What CPT code descriptor is being used by other facilities for monofilament sensory testing for diabetic neuropathy patients? Are most just including it as part of their evaluation charge, or is there a more appropriate code? 0106T " Quantitative sensory testing (QST), testing and interpretation per extremity; using touch pressure stimuli to assess large diameter sensation is an option, but was told that is considered experimental code and subject to denial/ audits, etc. Interested in hearing what others are doing.
