10th opinion, problems husband etc.

Had gone for my " 10th opinion " to a big MS clinic in Charlotte a few

weeks ago. Dr sent notation for file which stated things like I had a

negative spinal tap…I didn't and I faxed him a copy stating

otherwise. He went to get the films of the many MRIs vs just the

reports. Then the nurse called a few times and said they would call

if they needed a new appt.

Some of the comments were ridiculous like saying I might have a psych

as primary component…..so then explain the lesions, the negative

evaluation from all the psychiatrists etc…Anyway I was hoping for a

neuro that could handle times when I get worse or need

hospitalization…..and I called his nurse for the 3rd week in a row

and she said Doc had everything he needed and that was that. I again

asked if he could correct the records he wrote for this visit. What

bothers me is he sends his comments to my primary care doc but never

sends them the corrections and I'm constantly having to defend one

disease vs another after all these years.

I have chronic relapsing MS of a progressive type, very unusual

presentation they say….Started having some relapse symptoms….Husband

had me walk about half a mile with him…I was holding on…was really

tiring…then last night, started choking on water and other food. He

said to eat slower. Made a comment that I needed to exercise on my

bike so I could get better. Once again, another night with a man who

doesn't understand what I am going through but claims I do.

So I am in my frustrating opinion again for sure…..
