Guest guest
Hi Linnea, I have been billing for many years and Medisoft is a better system but can be quite costly with upgrades (which is why I dropped using it several years ago). Office Ally does have access anywhere you have an internet connection as well because it is web-based. You will have to weigh the pros and cons. I switched to Kareo several years ago which is a monthly subscription (half price for therapists) per provider, is web-based, and is head an shoulders above Office Ally when it comes to being user friendly. The subscription based scenario means you have to pay every month, but all your upgrades are included and you also do not have to worry about backing up your data. It interfaces with a couple of EMR solutions as well if that is a concern. THere are lots of software choices out there and neither Medisoft or Office Ally would be my first choice. I bet with a little research you could find a system that would meet your billers needs and still not be too hard on the pocketbook. I am interesting in others' experiences with medisoft versus officeally for ease of use and effiency.
