Guest guest
I made it!!! I didn't have a ride -- so couldn't take the xanax --- eeeeekksss. But I got by with taking some benadryl (that I can drive on). I think most of my anxiety comes from anticipating the MRI more than anything, it seems like once I'm in there I'm okay. I think I told the story about it being my "whale mama"? When my son asked what it is like having an MRI I said it seemed like I was a whale baby inside its mama and the mama is in labor so it is making all sorts of wierd noises. So when I'm having an MRI I just tell him I'm going to visit my whale mama -- it lightens it up for both of us. He didn't want to talk about it, but I could tell he was concerned that I was having another one. Sooooo, now another form of waiting begins as UCSF is to call me to schedule an appt after they get the MRI. I may go pick up my own copy Monday -- but I'm afraid of what I might find, so I don't know. (so very unlike me - usually I'm very nosy about my medical records). Anyway, that part done, I called in sick to work after it, I have just been super exhausted and achey (not to mention the benadryl ) Love and gentle hugs to all! Guest guest
LOL You can always tell yourself you won't look at your MRI or report until after you see the doc. I know it won't work for you any better than it would work for me. LOL They may not want to release your report until after you've seen the Doc. Some don't. Not in a Taking Authority Away From You manner. I hope you know what I mean, because I'm not sure. ROFL HUGS, Challis Re: Kami's MRI? I made it!!!
