a question for anyone who knows.

Hi all:

I had not been on the list for quite a while and I really feel like I need to

get back in control of things. What should the

himogloben a1c be? I need to go and get mine done as it has been about a year

or so. Shame shame! I am one of those people who

dread blood tests because it usually takes them half an hour or so before they

are finally able to get a vein that doesn't roll away

on them. I swear the lab techs run the other way when I come in to the lab

ahahahahahaha! Either that or they draw straws to see

who is the unlucky one to get me. One time they tried for a whole hour before

they gave up and told me to come in the next day. It

was more successful that day although it still took forty-five minutes. This

was after a blood pressure cuff, hot pads everything

they could think of. It gets ridiculous really quickly. Now after six sticks

with the needle I tell them to forget it I'll come

back tomorrow. It really is frustrating. All this being said, I know that I

need to have it done. Does anyone else have this

problem? It makes me mad because when my husband gets his blood taken he is

back out in thirty seconds or so.
