Guest guest
Hey there group, I am wondering if any of you that work in a hospital-based outpatient clinic have some kind of brief eval or consult charge that you utilize. An example of its potential use would be for say, crutch training, or when a hand therapy patient comes in for splinting only and a formal evaluation is not completed. If you do have such a setup, would you let me know how you bill for this? If you woulnd't mind sharing approximate cost and the logistics (ie do you have a CPT code associated with it) that would be wonderful. If you don't have such a thing, are you billing a full eval for such circumstances/services, or are you billing under something else such as physical performance measure (since we do a brief write up for the MDs at least). Thanks in advance, a Hranicka, OT/L Clinical program leader Tuality HealthPlace PT/Hand therapy Hillsboro, OR
