Guest guest
<snip> Sorry but more explanation needed here! When you talk about pads, are they like sanitary pads? Do they just lie on the nappy or how do they stay in place? I assume a wrap is like a pair of waterproof pants? Or is it a tie on cover? <snip> Ok the pads are sold by Kooshies, they are made of a few layers of cotton sewn together, look at bit like a panty liner but are not disposable. The wraps are Kooshies also the wrap around the nappy and close at the front with Velcro look just like a disposable a bit. <snip> " Hannah Hamer " Subject: Washable nappies (warning graphic poo/wee descriptions - don't read if eating/easily disturbed ;o) ) But what do you do if you need to do other washing? Doesn't that tie up the washing machine all day? I must admit I'm too lazy to bother with disposable liners - If the nappy contents are solid enough I shake them into the toilet - I never dunk and swish in the toilet (yuk, yuk, yuk!!) If it's too <snip> Yes it does tie up the washing machine all day, but I only do our washing at weekends unless something is urgent. I never dunk the nappy in the toilet, that's the whole point in using a nappy liner so you don't need to. HTH Tupman
