Guest guest
((((((((((challis)))))))),hugz and hugz right back at ya and lol on the roasting pit. i know intellectually that depression is an actual illness/syndrome/symptom of ms and other illnesses, but, as you probably also know it takes a lot of support and positive self-talk, and staying in the moment and all kinds of other things to stop, or at least slow down the negative "voices" that are just too willing to crop up and destroy your peace of mind. i really believe there is a destroyer out there who does not want the human race to live, but lives on misery and death. my spirituality is a definite help in this struggle and the super support from you challis, and everyone else who writes back and/or sends positive thoughts my way, is one of the cornerstones of my therapy now that i am out of the hopital. i can't tell you guys how many nights i have sat at the computer and hung on your guys' uplifting energy expressed in the posts. every time one of you helps another with a kind word, some helpful suggestion, or just a deep-felt prayer, i gain by reading your messages to me and each other. i feel saner, more in touch with myself, and more loving in general. it is a blessing to have so many decent people caring for each other, and i thank you for all those times i have mutely and kind of desperately reached out and found you.thank you, annetteSmyelin groovy wrote: {{{{{{{{Annette}}}}}}}} You're definitely not weak willed, and you don't sound at all like your dissing will power. Honestly, I'm impressed you ensured you got the help you needed. That's a tough one for a lot of us (shhh... I won't say I'm one of them, but I am lol). I'm not sure if there is anyone on this list who hasn't fallen into that pit of depression. I think every one of us has been there. And sometimes that pit seems to have no bottom, doesn't it? I think pits should only be for roasting dinner. <gg> HUGS, Challis back againTo: mserslife@yahoogrou ps.com, FriendsWithMS@ yahoogroups. comDate: Monday, April 21, 2008, 1:44 AM hi everyone!i have been in and out of the hospital for depression. before that i was too depressed to write or even read the posts. i hope all is well and will try to keep engaged again. annette Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Guest guest
thanks, connie. it's good to "hear your voice" again. it did go well in that i came out a bit stronger, with much lightened depression, better meds, and new friends. i also have a new psychiatrist who has prescribed me adderal, which is in the process of changing my life since i am acually awake for the majority of the day now!annetteConnie wrote: Welcome home Annette, hope it all went well for you!
