Guest guest
Some Medicare Intermediaries will not accept the 97014 code, they must have G0283 for payment purpose, the reimbursement is the same under both codes. Both codes based on the AMC CPT-4 book is a non-timed code, only 1 unit allowed to bill, this is due to the fact no face to face encounter needed for the entire treatment time. Guest guest
Actually, no Medicare contractor accepts 97014 since April 1, 2003. All unattended electrical stimulation for other than wound care must be billed under G0283.
