That had to feel great, Nan!! You can tell when someone is really sincere

Dear Nan,

Isn't that the greatest feeling in the world. Having someone ask " Is

that you? " is always exciting. Another of my favorite reactions is

when someone you haven't seen in a while " knows " it is you but is so

dumbfounded by the changes that they stammer and stutter and try to

figure out how to compliment you without insulting you about your

" former self " . I just usually let them twist in the breeze for a

minute or two while I savor the moment....and then graciously thank

them and let them off the hook.....then I skip off with a smile on my

face for at least 15-20 minutes...LOL
